Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in statistical demand forecasting and time-phased replenishment planning preferred.
• APICS certification preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP and ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, procurement, logistics and inventory management of parts across the business unit.
• Recognize emerging trends and understand their potential impact to the business.
• Understand the KPIs used to ensure supply chain service level goals are achieved.
• Comprehend the financial and logistical impact of inventory investments.
• Assist in lifecycle planning on rotable and perishable items as required.
• Support recommendations for changes to supply chain tactical plans in response to changing requirements.
• Engage in discussions to determine whether excess inventory should be redistributed, sold or disposed.
• Develop relationships with other functions to address shortages, distribution, customer provisioning, and demand.
