Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of Materials Management in manufacturing including inventory control and kitting.
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (Epicor preferred) and SOX/internal controls.
• Advanced Excel skills with Pivot Tables and Power Query.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• 3–6 years of related experience.
• APICS certification (CPIM/CSCP) is required or preferred.
• Experience with BI/reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Aerospace/defense or regulated manufacturing exposure highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory health and accuracy, including cycle counts and transaction integrity.
• Analyze materials KPIs: accuracy, turns, availability, and obsolescence; recommend improvements.
• Ensure SOX/DOA compliance with audit-ready documentation and approvals.
• Perform root-cause analysis of discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions.
• Analyze BOM over/under-issues and coordinate with cross-functional teams to correct ERP records.
• Develop/maintain material readiness, kitting standards, and inventory-control procedures.
• Support shortage resolution with accurate status, visibility, and recovery inputs.
• Lead improvements to ERP/Epicor processes, labeling, and data quality.
• Collaborate with Planning, Purchasing, Production, Quality, Engineering, and Government Property.
