Job summary

Bollinger Shipyards is seeking an Inventory/Logistics Specialist to optimize inventory value across locations. You will lead inventory control, manage MRP systems, and align materials planning with production scheduling.

The role requires 4–6 years in material handling and supervision, plus APICS/CPIM certification and a strong understanding of procurement processes. You will collaborate across divisions to achieve cost-efficient inventory management.

Qualifications

• Experience with inventory control, MRP systems, and production scheduling.
• Supervisory experience in inventory or production environments.
• Facility-wide coordination across divisions to optimize inventory.

Responsibilities

• Lead initial and sustained inventory activities.
• Assess internal inventory requirements and guide direction.
• Summarize inventory needs and coordinate with teams.
• Develop and manage MRP for receiving, storage and issuance.
• Coordinate with divisions to achieve common objectives.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advanced SCM and inventory practices.
• Administer FTZ entries and US Customs documentation.
• Manage centralized warehouse inventory including controlled stock.
• Ensure record maintenance and cost-efficient processing.
• Direct inventory staff and collaborate with department managers.
