Job summary

Li & Fung in Bentonville is seeking an Inventory Planner to support the Walmart business with forecasting, replenishment, and reporting. You’ll partner with Sales, Planning, Production, Logistics, Design, and internal teams to drive in-stock levels and optimize inventory.

The role demands strong analytical skills, Excel mastery, and experience with Walmart Retail Link; Power BI or Tableau is a plus. 3–4+ years in inventory planning or analytics are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Merchandising, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 3–4+ years of inventory planning, replenishment, sales analysis, merchandising, or a related planning/analytical role; Walmart experience strongly preferred.
• Experience working with Walmart Retail Link and related Walmart systems highly preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience analyzing large data sets.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze weekly sales, POS, inventory, and performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
• Create, update, and distribute weekly sales reporting, including performance versus plan, budget, and prior periods.
• Prepare weekly and monthly business recaps and provide insights into sales and inventory performance.
• Conduct detailed selling analysis by item, category, size, and color to identify opportunities and support business decisions.
• Monitor key business metrics and highlight significant changes in sales trends, inventory position, and product performance.
• Support analysis related to markdowns, promotions, re-buys, and other inventory actions.
• Assist with ad hoc reporting and analysis to support Sales and Planning leadership.
• Planning & Forecasting: Support development and maintenance of weekly, monthly, and seasonal forecasts.
