Job summary

Komatsu in Peoria, IL is seeking a Production Coordinator to schedule and process production orders across multiple departments. You will monitor schedules, capacity and status reports to keep production on time.

The role also expedites materials, supports inventory accuracy, and coordinates with the Parts Department and manufacturing cells. Strong communication, organizational skills and ERP experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent required.
• Five years of experience in production control, inventory control, or operating systems.
• Clear verbal and written communication with supervision, peers and operating personnel.
• Proficient PC skills; familiarity with MS Word and Excel desirable.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute picking schedules to support orders.
• Use shortage and At Risk reports to expedite materials.
• Monitor production and inventory status to stay on plan.
• Maintain system parameters related to BOMs and material distribution.
• Replace missing or mis picked items; support training.
• Participate in new employee orientation.
• Perform clerical tasks as required.
