Job summary

RSCC Wire & Cable LLC is seeking a cost accounting and inventory professional to manage the overall cost accounting and inventory function for the East Granby and Seymour facilities. You will conduct physical inventories and perform detailed financial analysis to support inventory management.

Responsibilities include monitoring adjustments, developing standard costs, maintaining ERP data, reconciling GL to stock reports, and assisting with month-end close and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP.
• Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical business situations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and organize workload.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze inventory adjustments and write-offs to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Develop and prepare raw material standard costs with Engineering and Procurement teams.
• Load and maintain standard costs within the ERP system.
• Develop methods to value inventory and maintain integrity of inventory records.
• Reconcile the General Ledger to the Stock Status Report monthly.
