Job summary

Aeon is hiring an Inventory Control Manager to set up and manage inventory across the site in Austin, TX, with plans to move to Cedar Park in 2027. The role reports to the VP of Supply Chain and collaborates with engineering and manufacturing to establish structured processes and controls that scale with the business.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in inventory control, warehouse ops, or supply chain, preferably in aerospace or ITAR hardware.
• Proven ability to build and improve inventory processes and controls.
• Hands-on receiving, put-away, material movement, cycle counting, and variance management.
• Strong ERP/MRP/WMS fluency and understanding of how system transactions affect accuracy.
• Excel proficiency for data analysis, pivot tables, lookups, and dashboard reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement receiving, put-away, issuance, returns and disposition processes.
• Establish warehouse locations, part identification, labeling, and handling practices.
• Create an ABC inventory classification system and RCCA analysis.
• Develop dashboards and KPIs for aging, adjustments, shortage updates, and obsolescence.
• Perform physical and financial inventory reconciliations and audits.
• Lead WMS deployment with barcode scanning.
• Document standard work instructions and training materials.
