Job summary

AEP is seeking an Inventory Analyst to develop and maintain inventory procedures, analyze past and current usage trends, and support audit activities to ensure compliance with rules and regulations.

You will collaborate with purchasing, monitor stock levels, and implement systems for effective inventory management. On-site role based in Pataskala, OH, with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Procurement, Business Management, or related field or Associate's Degree and two years of applicable experience or a High School Diploma/GED and four years of Supply Chain experience.
• Two years of experience in Supply Chain or related business experience including inventory work, material coordination duties or similar position.

Responsibilities

• Partners with the purchasing department to ensure orders maintain inventory optimization.
• Review stock levels during replenishment and revise based on lead time/demand.
• Monitor inventory levels and resolve issues.
• Develop and implement systems for accurately managing inventory.
• Maintain records regarding inventory control, issues and returns.
• Report to management and provide recommendations for better inventory control.
• Assist in annual review of Inactive/Non-Applicable Material and cycle counting.
• Track and assist with sales of material between third party vendors and other Nuclear Power Plants.
