Job summary

AEP is seeking a storeroom/ procurement professional to manage storeroom operations across multiple facilities in the Indiana region. The role emphasizes safe, cost-efficient material handling, alignment of inventory with construction and maintenance needs, and collaboration with Stores, Accounting, Procurement, and Engineering teams.

The position requires durable leadership, extensive experience in supply chain and attention to regulatory compliance, including security and safety programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent education and experience.
• Ten years of business experience in Supply Chain, Distribution, Transmission or Generation.
• At least three years of direct supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct the operation of storerooms within the assigned Operating Company or Region.
• Recommend storeroom staffing and enhancements to the materials flow process.
• Ensure SOX compliance, cycle inventories and active material reviews.
• Manage materials for M&S, Capital & oversite of plant Direct Charge.
• Coordinate material management between storerooms and liaise with Stores, Accounting, Procurement, Engineering and Projects.
• Develop and implement measures and goals for storeroom operations.
• Ensure compliance with corporate and departmental policies and safety programs.
• Support staffing and materials for storm restoration, outages and project needs.
