Job summary

FlightSafety International is seeking an Internal Communications Specialist to assist the Internal Communications Manager in developing and executing comprehensive internal communications programs for Corporate, Commercial, and Simulation Systems training products and services.

The role requires strong writing skills, ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and collaboration with key stakeholders to align with brand messages and objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of demonstrable experience in communications, business development, research or marketing or any combination thereof preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute internal communications plans and programs for the organization's brands and messaging.
• Provide status updates and announcements for internal projects and coordinate content development.
• Coordinate internal distribution of announcements and respond to inquiries.
• Monitor, measure and report results and suggest changes to upper management as needed.
• Work with stakeholders to establish internal communications goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with internal and external resources to support the communications strategy.
• Manage external creative resources with guidance from Corporate Communications.
• Establish objectives, budget, audience and recipient lists.
• Oversee writing, design, layout, production and distribution of materials and liaise with vendors.
