Job summary

Maximus is seeking an Analyst, Competitive Intelligence & Price to Win to turn market insights into strategic actions. You will analyze competitors, support pricing strategies, and help shape pursuits that advance high-value opportunities. This fully remote role places you at the intersection of strategy, data, and business development.

The position emphasizes research, data preparation, and collaboration with the PTW team to ensure rigorous, evidence-based bids and proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 3+ years of relevant professional experience or equivalent.
• Strong Excel skills, data organization, and data cleanup.
• Ability to collect and organize award data, procurement details, and market intelligence.
• Maintain traceable documentation and support bid strategy inputs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct opportunity-focused customer and competitor research to support PTW assumptions and competitive positioning.
• Collect, organize, and validate award history, procurement data, incumbent information, and market intelligence.
• Support competitive pricing analysis by compiling prior award data, pricing benchmarks, contract values, labor categories, and cost drivers.
• Assist in building and maintaining bid-specific competitive pricing databases, source logs, and evidence files.
• Use analytical platforms, spreadsheets, and internal tools to support top-down, bottom-up, and parametric analyses.
• Prepare draft charts, summaries, source extracts, and analysis packages for review by senior team members.
• Participate in pre-bid and RFP review discussions to capture risks, questions, assumptions, and information gaps.
• Support strategy sessions, customer value proposition workshops, and proposal team activities through research and data preparation.
• Maintain strong documentation standards to ensure analysis is traceable, current, and usable by the team.
