Qualified candidates have a college degree or related experience, 3–5 years in a similar role, and a current P&C license. Proficiency with MS Office and Excel is required, with independent agency experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum education - college degree or related work experience.
• Proficient with MS Office & Excel.
• Exceptional telephone demeanor.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar position.
• Must have and maintain a current P&C License for the required states.
• Independent insurance agency experience (preferred).
• Property and Casualty Insurance Designation (e.g., CISR, CRIS, AAI) (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement of alternative quotes and carrier options to retain existing programs.
• Analyze market information to develop, design, and implement sales strategies.
• Review and evaluate submissions and quotes for accuracy and completeness.
• Negotiate with carriers on coverage and pricing for renewals and new business.
• Provide market information and insight to sales and service teammates.
• Identify new markets and contract with insurers or brokers as approved.
• Utilize assistants in online rating and proposal creation.
