Job summary

The Baldwin Group is recruiting a Placement Executive in Boston to partner with Advisors and Directors, delivering top-tier service to clients and carriers. You will build professional relationships with clients, insurers and agency personnel while maintaining accounts and promoting a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include evaluating client needs, designing coverage solutions, and negotiating with carriers to secure favorable terms for complex placements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred and/or 10 years’ work-related experience.
• Active state insurance license required.
• Professional designations a plus (ARM, CPCU, CRM, CIC).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Maintains all licenses per state requirements within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• In-depth knowledge of insurance products and services including policy forms, terms/conditions.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of the insurance marketplace and relationships with key underwriters.
• Assess client needs, design solutions and negotiate with carriers for coverage.
• Market client business to carriers for new and renewal opportunities.
• Identify carriers, submit quotes, negotiate terms and prepare proposals.
• Stay current on industry news, products, coverage and technology.
• Attend meetings, workshops, carrier functions and networking events as requested.
