Job summary

The Baldwin Group in Boston is seeking an Insurance Placement Executive to join the team and collaborate with Advisors and Directors to deliver high-level service to clients. The role emphasizes client needs assessment, solution design, and carrier negotiations to secure optimal coverage.

Responsibilities include market outreach to multiple carriers, quote submissions, and proposal preparation, with ongoing industry learning and professional conduct expected in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred and/or 10 years’ work-related experience.
• Active state insurance license required.
• Professional designations such as ARM, CPCU, CRM or CIC are a plus.
• Maintains all licenses as required by the State Department of Insurance and may obtain all required licenses within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accounts and promote a positive working environment with clients, insurance companies, and agency personnel.
• Assess client needs, design solutions, and negotiate with carriers to obtain appropriate coverage.
• Market client business to a variety of insurance carriers; submit applications for quotes and prepare proposals.
• Stay current on industry news, products, coverage and technology; attend meetings and networking events as requested.
