Job summary

The Baldwin Group seeks a Senior Client Manager to coordinate carrier relationships and lead the service team on large accounts. You will develop initial placement and renewal strategies and ensure service delivery aligns with client needs.

Ideal candidates will have deep knowledge of the general insurance market, strong client-service skills, and the ability to manage complex risk exposures while mentoring teammates and supporting firm growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred; professional insurance designation pursued or held.
• At least five years’ experience in Account Management.
• Must maintain required licenses per state insurance department within 90 days.
• Demonstrates effective presentation skills in verbal and written communications.
• Aligns with the organization’s core values and corporate culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead the service team on large accounts and coordinate carrier relationships.
• Develop initial placement/renewal strategy and coordinate service delivery.
• Perform marketing activities for large accounts.
• Prepare risk maps and peer review risk maps for accounts.
• Complete special projects and identify process improvements.
• Mentor new colleagues when requested.
