Avista is seeking an Enterprise Insurance & Risk Program Manager to lead insurance program management, risk assessment and risk financing across the organization. The role covers regulatory filings, market monitoring, budgeting, and executive reporting, with oversight of large claims and risk transfer discussions.

The successful candidate will collaborate with internal teams, brokers and insurers, travel as needed, and drive enterprise risk management initiatives from Spokane headquarters.

Qualifications

• 7 years of risk management and insurance experience required.
• Industry certifications such as ARM are required or obtainable within 6 months.
• Strong written/verbal communications and ability to work independently within a team.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and execute renewal strategies for all lines of insurance.
• Monitor trends and communicate potential impacts to management.
• Collaborate with brokers, insurers and internal teams to obtain cost effective coverages.
• Prepare annual program budgets and report variances to leadership.
• Support regulatory affairs with insurance data for filings and requests.
• Manage complex insurance claims and coordinate settlements for timely resolution.
• Provide risk management support for business initiatives and organizational changes.
• Assist ERM in risk identification and mitigation strategies.
