The Atlantic District in Hampton, VA is seeking a Principal General Agent to lead growth, operations, and client service for the local Farmers agency. You will direct sales strategy, mentor a team of producers, and shape a culture focused on authenticity and long-term relationships.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Life, Health, and Annuity license.
• 5+ years leading insurance sales operations or broker networks.
• Proven ability to recruit, train and mentor sales producers.
• Strong analytical skills for market and performance metrics.
• In-depth knowledge of insurance industry compliance regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day sales operations to meet district growth goals.
• Mentor and guide producers to improve sales and client service.
• Foster relationships with local community partners to increase visibility.
