Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking an Instructional Design Specialist to design, develop, and refine engaging learning experiences for our L&OD team. You'll translate business priorities into instructor-led, virtual, and eLearning content using adult learning principles.

Working with SMEs and LMS admins, you'll ensure content is accessible, tested, and aligned to objectives, and support the rollout of the enterprise LXP. The role is based in Arlington, VA or Solon, OH, with a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in instructional design or related field.
• 2+ years end-to-end instructional design experience for ILT/eLearning in corporate/education settings.
• Experience applying instructional design frameworks and adult learning principles.
• Working knowledge of LMS (SCORM/AICC content uploading, testing, troubleshooting).
• Proficiency with eLearning tools and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop instructor-led, virtual, blended, and eLearning content using instructional design best practices.
• Collaborate with SMEs to define objectives, audience, and tasks; structure complex content into engaging learning experiences.
• Storyboard, script, and build digital assets including videos, modules, simulations, and facilitator guides.
• Develop Level 1 and 2 assessments; refine content based on evaluations.
• Conduct quality reviews for accuracy, brand alignment, and accessibility.
