Job summary

10x Genomics Inc is seeking a high-impact individual contributor in the Strategic Insights & Analytics team. You will partner with senior leaders across the business to build analytical models, forecast demand, and translate complex data into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities include defining data and semantic foundations, building growth and forecasting models, enabling self-serve analytics, and coordinating cross-functional programs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data science, analytics, or related roles using analytics to solve business problems.
• Hands-on cohort and retention analysis, regression, time series, causal inference, experiments.
• Experience deploying ML models into production to solve business problems.
• Strong SQL and Python for data manipulation and modeling.
• Deep experience with sales processes and CRM, revenue-focused thinking.
• Bias for action in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Data and semantic foundations: define segments, enrich data, version metrics, improve EDW/semantic layer (dbt, GitHub, Snowflake).
• Model growth, activation, retention, funnel, and capacity analyses; forecast demand and LTV.
• Build territory/account-level planning models; migrate planning from spreadsheets to versioned models.
• Enable self-serve analytics; replace manual work with automated, AI-driven workflows.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into analytical products and recommendations.
