American Wire Group is seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative to support the sales team with quotations, bids, and customer inquiries. The role emphasizes relationship-building with clients and vendors while driving sales and meeting quarterly quotas.

Qualifications

• Effective communicator with negotiation, customer service, and relationship skills.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Goal- and detail-oriented; ability to achieve targets.
• Superior organization, coordination, and time management skills.
• Able to work closely with Sales Managers and team members.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills; good judgment.
• Bi-Lingual Spanish skills are a plus.
• Computer-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative functions within the sales team; keep activity organized.
• Assist in preparing customer quotations and bid proposals.
• Assist with closing sales and quarterly quotas.
• Grow existing business and exceed sales goals set by leadership.
• Respond to inquiries about products, uses, and industry details.
• Develop relationships with vendors and customers; build trust.
• Occasionally cold call and email prospective and current customers.
• Provide excellent customer service including order status and follow-ups.
• Obtain and report competitive information/pricing.
• Support senior leaders with tasks; assist project and data entry teams.
• Process customer and vendor documents (quotes, POs, etc.).
• Retrieve and summarize data from records and emails as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
