Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Three years of inside sales experience preferred.
• Metal industry experience preferred.
• US Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required due to ITAR and EAR Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, builds, and maintains customer relationships.
• Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads.
• Handles inbound sales lead calls to convert calls into sales.
• Makes outbound lead follow‑up calls to qualify leads and sell products and services.
• Overcomes technical and business objections of prospective customers.
• Determines the markup for the material based on market conditions and order specifics.
• Determines whether to source customer orders and delivery dates.
• Investigates and responds to customer complaints regarding material shipments or claims.
• Tracks stock levels and coordinates customer training.
• Prepares reports on business transactions and contract management.
• Analyzes customer forecasts and develops stock/release programs.
