Qualifications

• 2+ years of inside sales, customer service, or account management experience, preferably in steel, metals, industrial distribution, or manufacturing.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP/CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers.
• Prospect for new business and create sales opportunities.
• Prepare quotes and close orders accurately and efficiently.
• Identify upsell, cross-sell, and contract growth opportunities.
• Manage accounts to support sales goals for revenue, margin, and volume.

• Track and expedite shipments to meet customer expectations.
• Develop strong knowledge of market trends and core products including pipe, tubing, and bar.
• Resolve customer issues related to pricing, delivery, quality, and service.
