Earle M. Jorgensen Company in Houston, TX is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to promote and develop leads, and handle customer inquiries by phone or email for fabricated and non-fabricated steel. You will manage relationships, process orders, and coordinate with operations and the Test Reports Department.

Compensation: $23.52 - $24.52 per hour with a quarterly Sales Incentive Program and a guaranteed $2,000 quarterly incentive during year one, then based on performance.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Strong knowledge of sales principles, customer service, and metals industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to multi-task and manage time.

Responsibilities

• Promote and develop leads and maintain sales via phone or email.
• Handle incoming inquiries and convert leads to orders.
• Maintain customer relationships and manage accounts to grow opportunities.
• Process orders and provide delivery and product details.
• Coordinate with operations and Test Reports Department as needed.
• Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends.
• Assist with pricing, quotations, and agreements within guidelines.
