Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Rep to be a key customer contact at our branch, recommending solutions, quoting, selling and fulfilling orders for equipment and services based on customer needs. You’ll build relationships and provide outstanding service while driving branch growth.

The role requires multitasking in a fast-paced environment, strong teamwork and excellent communication. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred, along with a valid driver's license

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Exceptional relationship-building and customer service skills.
• Multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Process rental quotations, reservations and contracts.
• Establish new rental and sales accounts by serving walk-in and call-in customers.
• Negotiate prices on equipment rentals and contractor supplies.
• Dispatch delivery trucks and manage customer expectations.
• Generate leads for new business and share leads with Outside Sales Representatives.
• Warm call on lost and/or dormant accounts to retain business.
• Maintain a clean and presentable showroom, sufficiently stocked with merchandise.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
