Job summary

Auburn University is seeking a student employee for the College of Liberal Arts (CLA) Strategic Initiatives and Programs to support the Director in developing, executing, and evaluating key projects advancing strategic goals.

This hourly role offers hands-on experience in higher education administration, project management, research, marketing content, meeting notes, reports, and event coordination, with opportunities to engage campus and external communities.

Qualifications

• Enrolled student (graduate or undergraduate) at Auburn University.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Plan, monitor, and execute strategic projects and conference tasks, including AI Nexus conference logistics and post-conference duties.
• Conduct primary and secondary research and summarize findings for reports and presentations.
• Create messaging and materials for presentations, reports, and meetings.
• Schedule meetings, record minutes, and follow up on action items to ensure project continuity.
• Draft internal communications and correspondence for stakeholders, including faculty, staff, and students.
• Assist with event planning, promotion, and execution of programs and workshops related to strategic initiatives.
• Perform administrative duties such as organizing files, managing records, and responding to inquiries.
