Job summary

Champion Home Builders, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager, Strategic Initiatives to lead high-priority initiatives within the Builder Developer and Champion Construction Services divisions.

The role partners with operational and functional leaders to improve processes, implement scalable systems, strengthen reporting, and drive cross-functional initiatives from planning through adoption. The position aligns stakeholders, manages risks, and provides leadership with clear insight into progress,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, project management, operations, construction management, information systems, or related field.
• Five+ years of progressive experience leading cross-functional projects, business initiatives, or systems implementations.
• Proven ability to manage complex priorities, plans, budgets, or resources and communicate with senior stakeholders.
• Experience documenting business requirements, mapping processes, coordinating testing and deployment, and supporting sustainable adoption.
• Ability to influence without direct authority and drive teams from analysis to execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic and special projects from definition through implementation.
• Develop project charters, workplans, timelines, milestones, resource needs, governance, success metrics, and business cases.
• Identify challenges, workflow gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for standardization and scalability with CCS and Builder Developer leaders.
• Map current-state processes and design future-state workflows and operating standards.
• Define business requirements, project scopes, implementation plans, success metrics, and change impacts.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to design, test, deploy, and sustain new processes, systems dashboards, and tools.
• Manage implementation activities including requirements gathering, testing, user acceptance, training, deployment, adoption, and post-implementation review.
• Support development of dashboards, scorecards, KPI reporting, and analyses for leadership decisions.
• Monitor performance, adoption, results, risks, and dependencies; resolve issues and elevate decisions with clear recommendations.
• Collaborate with Operations, Technology, Finance, Marketing, Engineering and other partners to develop tools, materials, processes, and communications.
• Facilitate leadership and project meetings, drive decisions, assign accountability, and ensure commitments are fulfilled.
• Establish governance, reporting disciplines, and visibility across the portfolio; promote knowledge sharing and alignment between CCS and Builder Developer operations.
