Job summary

SSC Services for Education, a nationwide best-in-class facility service provider and member of Compass Group, North America, seeks a Project Manager, Strategic Initiatives to lead enterprise-wide programs and drive meaningful change. The role focuses on operational readiness, go-lives, and large-scale process or technology initiatives to deliver tangible business value.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience managing enterprise projects, including large-scale change
• Ability to define and execute change strategies
• Proven ability to influence and manage resources in a highly matrixed environment
• Strong leadership to motivate and lead cross-functional teams
• Proven ability to address competing priorities within a single project with a can-do attitude
• Proven business analytical capabilities to solve complex issues
• Excellent oral and written communication skills across all levels of the organization
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PM tools like Smartsheet/Microsoft Projects

Responsibilities

• Define and execute project scope, goals and deliverables that support business needs
• Build project teams (directly and indirectly) and coordinate members to maximize productivity
• Implement and maintain project plans to support goals
• Communicate progress, risks, and escalations to all levels and departments
• Collaborate with stakeholders including senior executives, sponsors, and business owners
• Create and maintain project documentation (status reports, work plans, analyses)
• Adapt approach and PM methodology to ensure project success
• Identify opportunities for improvement and drive organizational change
• Travel as needed (less than 25%)
