Compass Group USA is seeking a Project Manager for Strategic Projects in a hybrid role based in Charlotte, NC. You will lead enterprise-wide initiatives within a Fortune 500 setting, owning project life cycles, coordinating cross-functional teams, and driving change across operational readiness, digital transformations, and integrations.

The role emphasizes defining scope, building teams, managing timelines, and balancing competing priorities while communicating with executives and sponsors.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience managing enterprise projects, especially large-scale organizational change.
• Ability to define and execute change strategies across complex programs.
• Proven ability to influence resources in a matrix environment with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute project scope, goals and deliverables that support business needs.
• Build project teams and coordinate members to maximize productivity and velocity.
• Implement Waterfall or Agile plans and adjust as needed to meet objectives.
• Communicate progress, risks, and escalations to executives and stakeholders.
• Create and maintain project documentation including status reports and work plans.
• Travel as needed (less than 25%).
