Job summary

Baltimore City Public Schools is seeking a Manager to oversee strategic school initiatives, expand high-quality educational options, and support portfolio strategies across the district. You will design, implement, and measure programs that ensure access to high-quality schools for all students.

Responsibilities include leading Annual Review-related planning, supervising staff, securing resources, and fostering cross-department collaboration while applying equity in all actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, public policy or related field required.
• Five years' experience in academic/public policy administration with education reform preferred.
• Knowledge of urban K-12 school reform and facilities planning preferred.
• Strong analytical and quantitative presentation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Annual Review of Schools process with data from multiple sources.
• Supervise assigned staff and manage cross-agency collaborations.
• Lead transition plans for schools affected by Annual Review; engage stakeholders.
• Ensure equitable distribution of programs and resources; monitor progress.
