Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Strategic Initiatives Manager to drive growth by delivering and executing banner initiatives across the Division. You will analyze operational results, ensure Food Safety and regulatory measures, and travel across the Richmond/Norfolk VA, Southern, and Mid-Atlantic divisions or relocate as needed.

Qualifications

• Merchandising, Retail Operations and/or Category experience required.
• Strong knowledge of Standard Practices and Merchandising techniques.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
• Cross-functional leadership with ability to influence across teams.
• Must live within their respective division.

Responsibilities

• Implement, plan and rollout banner initiatives/tests/pilot programs across the division (~176 stores).
• Deliver Divisional KPI analysis and trend insights; identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with leaders to prioritize opportunities within the Division/Region.
• Communicate and train regional resources; serve as SME for banner initiatives.
• Maintain feedback loop between retail and partners on banner initiatives’ effectiveness.
• Align banner initiatives with standard practices; work with Practice team on guidelines.
• Report on competitive landscape and share findings with Strategy team.
