Job summary

Western Digital is seeking an Associate to own strategic projects spanning our core HDD business and New Ventures in photonics, magnetics, and nano-fabrication. You will lead market sizing, competitive landscaping, and customer analyses, delivering credible insights to executives.

You will develop executive-quality materials, collaborate across functions, and build robust financial models to support business cases and strategic decisions for the company’s next growth chapter.

Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Economics, Finance, or related analytical field.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead strategic projects spanning core HDD business and New Ventures.
• Conduct market sizing, competitive landscaping, customer/partner dynamics, and GTM analysis.
• Develop executive-level deliverables: decks, briefing notes, readouts for C-suite/Board.
• Build and maintain financial and analytical models: market sizing, scenarios, business cases.
