Job summary

California State University, Sacramento is seeking a Strategic Initiative Specialist to lead administrative coordinators at the Center for California Studies and provide analytical and systems support to the Capital Fellows Programs.

The incumbent will manage projects related to the Center’s programs, events, alumni engagement, database and website management, and fundraising, and assist with editing/publication of the California Journal of Politics and Policy.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and managing communications for alumni relations and organizational communications.
• Strong verbal and written communication across diverse platforms.
• Data analysis, survey techniques, and data management to inform policy.
• Ability to plan and organize independently amidst diverse demands.
• Team player with self-management and collaboration skills.
• Ability to train others and provide lead work direction.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Excel/Access, MailChimp, Outlook, Cascade.
• Ability to align program objectives with diversity and equity goals with diplomacy.
• Experience with communications including social media, websites, and event outreach.
• Commitment to an inclusive work environment.
