Job summary

Aldridge Electric is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join their Purchasing team in Libertyville, Illinois. This role involves supporting major infrastructure projects nationwide by ensuring efficient procurement strategies and resolving logistics issues.

The ideal candidate will have over three years of experience in procurement, along with strong organizational and analytical skills. Additionally, proficiency in MS Office and procurement software is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in procurement with a degree, or 5+ years without.
• Proven experience in purchasing and procurement, construction knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills both in person and through various mediums.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate project procurement plans and packages with vendors.
• Monitor and control purchase order requests.
• Facilitate resolution of logistics issues with vendors.
