Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking an Information Security Strategy and Enablement leader to shape and govern the enterprise security program. You will own the strategic plan, align priorities with business goals, and drive governance across security initiatives.

Lead cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Technology, Risk, and business units to translate strategy into measurable security outcomes, while communicating with executives and the Board on progress and risk.

Qualifications

• Requires BS/BA in information Technology or related field and a minimum of 8 years experience in systems administration and security aspects of information systems, access management and network security technologies, network communications, computer networking, telecommunications, systems development and management, hardware, software, data, and people; experience with multiple technical and business disciplines required;
• or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Responsibilities

• Own the management and evolution of the Information Security Strategy and Strategic Plan, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities and leadership direction.
• Lead the strategic planning lifecycle: annual planning, strategic refreshes, quarterly reviews, and certification of priorities and measures.
• Drive quarterly strategy reviews and certifications with accountable leaders, assessing progress and emerging risks.
• Develop executive narratives communicating strategy, progress, risks, and decisions to leadership.
