New York University's Kanbar Institute of Film & Television seeks an Associate Director, Strategic Industry & Alumni Engagement to develop strategies that strengthen community, alumni engagement, and sustainable impact. You will cultivate relationships with alumni, industry professionals, faculty, and external partners to create career, internship, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for students and recent graduates.

You will serve as a liaison with the industry community.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in arts, entertainment management, film or related field.
5+ years in industry relations, career development, business development or film/media field.
Strong relationship-building and communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
Experience with strategic partnership building and cross-discipline project management.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategies to strengthen community and alumni engagement.
Cultivate relationships with alumni, industry professionals, faculty, and external partners to create opportunities.
Create career, internship, mentorship and professional development programs for students and recent graduates.
Serve as a key liaison between the Institute and the professional community.
