Job summary

HumCap is recruiting an experienced Industrial Territory Sales Representative to drive new business and grow a designated commercial territory in the industrial distribution space. This consultative role focuses on building long-term client relationships and delivering solutions that improve space utilization, organization, and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in outside/territory sales selling commercial products and can navigate multiple decision-makers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of outside sales, territory sales, or business development experience.
• Strong consultative selling and relationship-building abilities.
• Experience working with commercial customers and multiple decision-makers throughout the buying process.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline.
• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and expand existing client relationships within designated commercial territories.
• Build partnerships with facility managers, operations leaders, procurement professionals, architects, and executive stakeholders.
• Consult with clients to understand workspace, storage, organization, and workflow challenges.
• Present customized solutions that align with customer goals and operational needs.
• Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, presentations, proposal development, negotiations, and closing.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities through networking, referrals, strategic outreach, and relationship management.
• Accurately track sales activities, forecasts, and opportunities within CRM systems.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Stay informed on industry trends and market opportunities to drive continued territory growth.
