Job summary

Advanced Technology Services (ATS) is seeking a Maintenance Scheduler/Planner in the United States, with a background in industrial maintenance. The role requires coordinating work orders, planning outages, and ensuring proper tool and parts availability to keep factory operations running smoothly.

Ideal candidates will have an associate degree in a technical field, 1–3 years planning experience or 5–10 years as a technician, and strong communication and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical field with 1–3 years of maintenance scheduling/planning experience or 5–10 years as a machine repair technician.
• Familiar with industrial manufacturing environment.
• Electrical/mechanical aptitude.
• Proficiency with computers and maintenance software/applications, including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate non-emergency work requests, develop scopes of work and inspect job locations to determine requirements.
• Estimate labor hours, skills, parts, materials, equipment and tools for proactive jobs.
• Gather technical docs such as drawings and OEM manuals and verify parts availability before scheduling.
• Maintain an organized backlog and prioritize upcoming planned maintenance tasks.
• Lead planning meetings and create weekly technician schedules to utilize 100% of available labor hours.
• Improve planning/scheduling processes using maintenance metrics.
