Job summary

Mercury Systems seeks a Senior Manager, Indirect Commodity Management to lead the indirect procurement function at the Hudson, NH facility. You will oversee strategic sourcing, category management, and a team of three professionals, driving cost optimization and supplier partnerships.

You will develop category strategies, monitor market trends, and ensure alignment with business goals while guiding cross-functional collaboration and professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Admin, or related field; equiv. experience considered.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing/procurement/commodity management.
• Demonstrated leadership, including team or cross-functional leadership.
• Strong analytical capabilities with data-driven decision-making.
• Advanced negotiation and contract management expertise.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and procurement tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Access to export-regulated information may be restricted to authorized individuals.

Responsibilities

• Develop multi-year sourcing plans across major indirect categories (IT, Facilities, MRO, etc.).
• Evaluate market trends and supplier capabilities to support growth and efficiency.
• Drive TCO improvements through bidding, negotiations, and supplier consolidation.
• Deliver measurable year-over-year cost savings aligned with financial goals.
• Build and manage strategic vendor relationships for quality and delivery.
• Monitor supplier KPIs and lead business reviews; manage risks.
• Lead and mentor a team of three indirect procurement professionals.
• Guide sourcing initiatives and partner with cross-functional teams.
