Job summary

Wesco is seeking a Senior Manager - Indirect Strategic Sourcing to build and lead the enterprise indirect procurement function in a hybrid role based in Glenview, IL. You will develop strategies, optimize supplier performance, and deliver measurable cost savings across indirect spend categories.

You will partner with business leaders to align priorities, establish scalable processes, and govern suppliers while driving transformation across the procurement organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Operations, or related field; Masters preferred.
• 8 years of progressive experience in indirect procurement or strategic sourcing.
• Experience leading indirect sourcing functions within large-scale B2B organizations.
• Proven ability to negotiate complex supplier agreements and deliver cost savings.
• Strong executive presence with ability to influence senior leaders.
• People leadership experience and ability to develop talent.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices, governance, and vendor management.
• Experience with enterprise procurement technologies and procure-to-pay platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide indirect sourcing strategies.
• Manage supplier relationships and drive vendor rationalization.
• Negotiate contracts focusing on cost reduction and risk mitigation.
• Identify opportunities to optimize more than $2B in indirect spend.
• Partner with business stakeholders to align sourcing priorities.
• Establish supplier governance and performance management.
• Drive compliance with procurement policies and standards.
• Develop sourcing roadmaps to support growth and transformation.
• Build and lead a high-performing indirect procurement team.
• Collaborate with Operations Excellence to align S2C and P2I models.
• Support future procurement technology and process transformation initiatives.
