Job summary

Rebo in the United States is seeking a SrIndirect Purchasing Buyer to lead indirect purchasing activities across tooling, equipment, and services, ensuring cost effectiveness and timely delivery. The role requires 5+ years in purchasing, a Bachelor's degree, and the ability to work in-person at Sparta, TN or Plymouth, MI.

Proficiency with PLEX ERP and MS Office is a plus. Fluency in English and Chinese is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive purchasing experience in indirect materials or related area.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Ability to work in Sparta, TN or Plymouth, MI office in person.
• Deep knowledge of purchasing tools, negotiation methods, and business communications.
• Experience with PLEX ERP is a plus.
• Fluency in English and Chinese preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Indirect purchasing of tooling, capital equipment, fixtures, construction, testing, packaging, freight, outside services, MRO, and related items.
• Analyze spending data to develop sourcing strategies and negotiate long-term agreements.
• Manage price-change maintenance per global purchasing process.
• Review suppliers and ensure best cost, on-time delivery, and quality.
• Identify continuous improvement initiatives for savings and efficiencies.
• Prepare, issue, and evaluate bid and RFI/RFP requests per BOS/PLUS.
• Ensure procurement process compliance during audits.
• Review bids and negotiate terms within authority.
• Select vendors based on total cost of ownership.
• Monitor supplier performance and convert approved requests into POs.
• Understand functional business context.
