Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
• 3-5 years in procurement, sourcing, contracting, purchasing operations, or related function.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, competitive sourcing, negotiations, POs, contracts, and supplier lifecycle activities.
• Experience with change, process documentation, or new tools implementations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and communicate tradeoffs early.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to tailor information for different audiences.
• Ability to build cooperative relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Collaborative and service-oriented with adaptability and accountability.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; ability to learn procurement platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage sourcing activities and supplier renewals, including bids, analysis, negotiations, and contract execution.
• Clarify needs, timelines, budgets, and decision criteria with business owners before engaging suppliers.
• Coordinate with Legal, Finance, InfoSec, Technology, AP and others for timely, compliant outcomes.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and suppliers through responsive service and updates.
• Identify savings, risks, and supplier diversity opportunities; elevate issues when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate procurement data in systems and trackers.
• Monitor contract expirations and support renewal or exit decisions.
• Ensure adherence to policies, approvals, and controls.
• Contribute to reporting on workload, risk, savings, and performance.
• Support change and continuous improvement initiatives.
