Job summary

Medisca is a global provider of pharmaceutical ingredients, analytical testing, and related services. The Indirect Buyer role supports day-to-day operations by sourcing indirect goods, managing suppliers, and processing purchase orders to maintain smooth production and compliance.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in purchasing or procurement, strong negotiation and Excel skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments while adhering to corporate policies.

Qualifications

• Diploma or college degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or a related administrative role.
• Understanding of procurement principles, supplier management, and purchasing processes.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage purchase orders for indirect spend categories based on requirements.
• Communicate with suppliers to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.
• Notify stakeholders of delivery delays or issues impacting production or testing schedules.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and contractual obligations.
• Resolve material shortages and invoice issues with accounts payable.
• Review open purchase orders and take appropriate actions.
• Report Quality Control or Quality Assurance concerns to suppliers.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet purchasing needs and maintain records.
