  • Active membership in good standing in at least one U.S. state bar and eligibility to practice as in-house counsel in the applicable jurisdiction.
  • 5 plus years of meaningful litigation experience at a law firm, in-house legal department, government agency, or a combination thereof.
  • Strong hands‑on litigation experience in federal or state courts, which may include discovery, depositions, motion practice, legal research, brief writing, mediation, arbitration, pretrial proceedings, or trial preparation.
  • Experience independently managing litigation matters and making strategic recommendations regarding case strategy, risk, and resolution.
  • Demonstrated ability to counsel business clients on litigation and legal risk in a practical, commercially focused manner.
  • Excellent judgment and analytical, strategic, writing, negotiation, advocacy, and communication skills.
  • Intellectual curiosity and the ability and willingness to quickly learn new areas of law, business operations, and emerging legal risks.
  • Ability to manage multiple significant matters and competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience managing outside counsel and litigation budgets.
