Job summary

Spectrum Comm Inc in the United States seeks five expert Inventory Management Specialists to advise on strategic sustainment acquisition phases of assigned systems, programs, or major equipment. Ideal candidates have extensive Air Force Supply Chain Management experience and will perform IMS duties across the 638 SCM Group.

Responsibilities include requirements definition, performance assessment, risk mitigation, configuration and data management, testing, and using DoD systems such as PRPS,

Qualifications

• Eight+ years in DoW logistics or aircraft maintenance/sustainment.
• Experience supporting logistics planning or program execution in defense.
• Strong written/verbal communication for guidance, reports, and briefings.
• Ability to coordinate across functions and manage competing priorities.
• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Associate's Degree (Bachelor's preferred) or equivalent experience; CCAF can substitute.
• Prior USAF experience (AFSC 2S0XI) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform IMS principles and practices for Air Force supply chain workloads.
• Provide guidance on government systems and processes.
• Collaborate with IPTs on weapon systems to plan acquisition and sustainment.
• Assist with logistics systems related to series; share best practices.
• Develop strategic and tactical acquisition strategies.
• Support RAD development and related documentation.
• Utilize PRPS, WAWF, LIMS-EV, DLA Asset Visibility, CAV-AF, PDMC/DDE systems.
• Help build continuity books, lead IPTs, and prepare background papers and reports.
