Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Technical Sourcing Manager for Silicon chips to lead sourcing, pricing, and supplier relationships for AWS hardware components.

You will drive multi-sourcing strategies, engage cross-functional teams, and translate industry trends into supplier roadmaps. The role requires 6+ years in global category management and RFP execution, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to present to executives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
• 5+ years of working with Core Cloud Technology Services
• 5+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies
• Experience in program management and metrics-driven decision making
• Experience presenting to executive audiences

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing, pricing, geo-diversity, second source manufacturing and supplier relationship efforts for supply resiliency
• Manage supplier qualification and manufacturing lines during development to mass production
• Deliver component multi-sourcing strategies and enable contract manufacturing for platforms
• Serve as primary supplier contact for capacity planning and contract agreements during product development
• Develop and implement strategic ICs sourcing strategies for AWS hardware infrastructure
• Develop sourcing strategies for AWS hardware infrastructure
• Identify industry trends and drive supplier roadmaps
• Negotiate complex supplier agreements with cross-functional stakeholders
• Provide weekly updates to core team and monthly executive updates
