Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a highly capable procurement professional to lead sourcing, pricing and supplier strategies for PCBA hardware infrastructure. You will manage multi-sourcing concepts, contract manufacturing, and capacity planning to ensure scalable supply chains for AI/ML roadmap programs across AWS data centers.

The role requires managing complex supplier agreements, cross-functional collaboration, and presenting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience.
• 5+ years of professional or military experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement PCBA sourcing strategies for AWS hardware infrastructure.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for AWS hardware infrastructure.
• Understand industry and technology trends.
• Identify key technology trends in the industry and drive supplier product roadmaps and execute on strategic initiatives in those products.
• Negotiate and implement complex supplier agreements and contracts by working with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Develop negotiations strategies to deliver against business objectives and achieve sustainable relationship with suppliers.
• Responsible to provide weekly core-team updates, deliver executive level updates on a monthly basis, and will be responsible for vendor escalations in order to resolve any issues related to his/her category.
• Present to senior leadership via written narratives.
