Job summary

Cenovus Energy seeks a Sr. Instrumentation and Electrical Maintenance Planner at the Lima refinery. The role reviews, estimates, purchases and records all work requests including labor, tools, materials and equipment.

You will plan work activities within the COIMS framework, ensuring safety and policy adherence. You will align with Maintenance Supervisors, Crafts, Operations and Purchasing to optimize efficiency and cost management, while maintaining comprehensive maintenance records for

Qualifications

Bachelor-level or equivalent is not required; but 8+ years of related experience in refinery/plants is required.
Journeyman Certificate required; Engineering Technology/Construction related assets are a plus.
Experience ordering material and services, preparing bid packages, and contracting with suppliers/vendors.

Responsibilities

Manage work requests from maintenance service users.
Coordinate details: Work Scope, Labor, Tools, Material, Equipment; track costs.
Plan, estimate costs and request staff, material and equipment for approved work.
Ensure work plans follow safety practices, procedures and company policies.
Maintain maintenance records for Planning and Scheduling Department.
Collaborate with Maintenance Supervisors, Crafts, Operations and Purchasing to schedule work.
