Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of college, an AA degree, or 5 years working experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial chemical setting.
• Previous planning or supervisor experience is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with peers and supervisors.
• Solid analytical, troubleshooting and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of industrial equipment and EHS procedures.
• Proficiency with WMIS and planning tools (Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Results-oriented, independent, and team-focused.

Responsibilities

• Orderly flow of the work order system and timely completion of customer requests.
• Plan all non-emergency work with Production and Maintenance supervision.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Engineering and outside suppliers for non-stock parts.
• Maintain equipment records and PM programs in WMIS.
• Develop cost and scheduling estimates for maintenance jobs.
• Assist with shutdowns and turnarounds planning.
• Prepare job plans, reserve stock materials, tools and equipment.
• Forward plans to Maintenance Scheduler for scheduling.
• Support technicians and engineers during job execution.
• Coordinate system installations, maintenance, and upgrades with operations.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed on planned jobs.
• Keep management informed of internal controls and improvements.
