Job summary

La Crosse County seeks a seasoned supervisor for its Economic Support team, overseeing Wisconsin Shares and related programs. You will supervise consortium staff, ensure compliance with county, state, and federal rules, and coordinate with WREA partners to deliver services efficiently.

You will lead staff development, training, and performance evaluations, while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and reporting on program outcomes to leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising staff in public service settings.
• Ability to interpret state and federal rules for welfare programs.
• Strong leadership, coaching and performance evaluation skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication for diverse audiences.
• Experience with Call Center operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise staff to ensure compliance with county, state, and federal rules.
• Oversee program delivery for Economic Support Services across multiple teams.
• Prepare monthly performance reports and present to leadership and the Board.
• Coordinate trainings and conduct staff evaluations and coaching.
• Engage with community stakeholders to improve service delivery.
