Job summary

R&R Partners, Inc. in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support payroll, benefits, and HR operations during a merger transition.

Hybrid work arrangement in Kansas City, serving as a key liaison between People, Accounting, and Legal teams. The ideal candidate has extensive end-to-end payroll processing experience, competitive benefits program knowledge, and a solid understanding of employment laws across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Experience leading payroll and benefits administration in a complex org.
• Knowledge of multi-state payroll and compliance across jurisdictions.
• Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems (Paylocity preferred).
• Experience supporting merger integration or acquisitions is a plus.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and confidential information handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly payroll, deductions, taxes, and reporting across entities.
• Resolve payroll/benefits questions and communicate clearly with employees.
• Maintain payroll records, reports, and analytics for compliance and business needs.
• Collaborate with People, Accounting, and Legal teams on payroll and benefits matters.
